Meet Recent MBA Interns

Here's who they are and what they learned while at Land O'Lakes.
"I worked on a project in Dairy Foods, building a recommendation for how to expand the licensing business. I pulled together qualitative inputs, from internal interviews, to understand how best to work with current partners, and from quantitative data from IRI to identify retail categories where Land O'Lakes might want to seek new partners."

"During my internship, I was the FP&A co-pilot for the go-to-market of our new financial services business at Winfield United. I analyzed how to better infuse external factors into our annual business-planning process. Partnering with business-unit stakeholders, accounting, and finance was an educational, impactful and fun experience! I was surprised to learn about the strong alignment between the clarity of purpose in the work we do and its positive impact for our stakeholders."

"My primary focus of the summer was to evaluate the goal-setting process at Land O’ Lakes, and to create a recommendation for ways that it could be improved. The most surprising thing that I learned was how quickly people can adapt to change if there is total buy-in. This was demonstrated as the company quickly adapted to working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic."
