Meet Recent Corporate Interns
Here's who they are and what it's like to work out of Land O'Lakes corporate HQ.
"I was a Customer Insights and Analytics intern on the Dairy Foods team. This position allowed me to explore my interest in Dairy Foods and in the CPG industry. The most surprising thing I learned this summer was the immense amount of work that goes into stocking our products on the shelves at grocery stores. The process of how the product travels from farm to fork takes a lot of time and energy from so many employees across the company."
University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management Finance and Marketing
"I interned in Member Relations this summer, working specifically in Leader Development. We focused on equipping our members with the tools they need to be leaders in our organization. I was able to speak with 40 members about their experiences, and how we could continue to build our programs to help them. It was incredible to hear their experiences, and learn just how connected our membership can be, even though geographically they are so spread out."
Purdue University Agricultural Education
"I was the Income Optimization intern charged with creating tools for Purina to evaluate their product launch success. I evaluated some of their past launches and created a system to evaluate more in the future! I think the most surprising thing I learned was how close everyone at Land O’Lakes is. I was really scared to work for a major corporation because I thought I would get lost in all the people. But everyone here has been nothing but nice, helpful, and open to teaching me new things!"

The most surprising thing that I learned was how quickly people can adapt to change if there is total buy-in. This was demonstrated as the company quickly adapted to working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic."
