We're taking intentional steps to expand agricultural career paths for people of color through partnerships, pathways, and community involvement, all through cross-functional support across Land O'Lakes.
Supporting minorities in agriculture
Through our partnership with Minorities in Agriculture and Natural Resource and Related Sciences (MANRRS), we've made over 100 hires to Land O'Lakes.
We also partner with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM) to inclusively connect and hire talent.
In 2022, we hosted representatives from the 1890 Universities and Foundation at the Purina Research Farm to discuss diverse pathways in agriculture. Learn more here.
Each year, Land O’Lakes, Inc. donates a portion of its pretax profits to the Land O’Lakes Foundation in addition to investing corporate dollars through Community Relations.
Giving Campaigns and Volunteer Campaigns are hosted throughout the year, many in partnership with our DEI team and Employee Resource Groups.
In 2022, we hosted over 20 DEI community volunteer events, with nearly 800 volunteers, accounting for over 2,200 volunteer hours.
find your community with our Employee Resource Groups
Our 11 ERGs are corporate-sponsored, employee-led groups that focus on recruitment, retention, insights and community impact. Over 15% of our workforce is involved in at least one ERG.
